Update! It's in the nose of the trailer -- which is backed tightly into the shop. It's winter here... not much need for a true Hiboy Roadster... so looks like that's your update you trouble maker.

Like I need you two "F'r's" to chime in....

THIS is not the Taj Mahal.... it's just a couple more parking stalls than some houses.... with a view....

Actually we're having such a good winter -- in a ski town that means cold and snowy -- the plan is to finish the foundation and stop work until spring. All those black "tarps" you see on the foundation are covering blankets for the heating system that is keeping the fresh concrete up to temp -- that has to be heated for 7 days or it won't cure. It's not worth the extra expense to commence framing when there's this much snow and cold.

There are TWO ski areas here... Dollar Mountain is directly across the street from our condo. It's all set up for snowboards.... boasts one of the biggest half pipes in North America... rails to grind - jumps - you name it. The girls snowboard so that's where we went.

Normally I would walk out the front door to the street in my street clothes and board the FREE bus for the 10 minute ride over to Warm Springs Lodge where I keep my ski stuff in a locker upstairs... and I'd ski Baldy Mountain. Lots of people ski before work for an hour or so - or go skiing on their lunch break etc. They (Sun Valley Corp) make it so easy.

Sounds lovely, Greg. Glad you're enjoying the place. How long are you expecting the house build to take?

Trey -- It's fantastic place - as long as you don't have to make a living. For us - it's just so easy. It's a resort... the jobs here are working in restaurants - ski lift operators - or services etc. There's no "industry" other than home builders and they're small and "custom". Town (Ketchum) is under 3000 people full time - so being a Lawyer etc just ain't like being in the big town.

They say 18 months to completion. That of course doesn't take into account delays due to weather. This is all well known in advance and when you're living in a town that is at 6000 feet of elevation - weather changes dramatically and quickly! WE all had hoped to keep framing thru "winter" but winter has been great this year with good snow.

Thanks Greg. Given the size and level of build, 18 -24 months sounds rather reasonable to me. Hope it goes smoothly for you.

That would be the one.....

I thought momentarily about buying it "back" (sold it to a buddy who is a HUGE Barrett Jackson seller) - who took it to a Mecum auction - and a different buddy bought it -- and they're also in the business..... and they took it and sold it at BJ.

You surprised at all by the price?
