Without a doubt! Awesome serious racing to watch and typically from great vantage points.
Regarding the pics.........show off. :D

Haha, yep! The first 4 photos were shot from an extremely dangerous location, but the unique perspective and view is awesome. Their average lap speed was 118mph, so they were really hauling!

Back in Kinser's heyday in the early 80's the Outlaws came to the track we raced open comp stock car at........we were all seated in turn one with goggles on and loved every lap! It was an over-sized tacky 1/4 clay track and Kinser was carrying the front between T2 & T3, in practice he damn near did a blow-over.........spindle pin was 5' or so above the track. :D Addicted ever since.

Small world.
I would not have been surprised to find out that Luke was driving.
It was about 15 years ago he used to ride the School Bus route I was pulled out of the shop to sub on regularly for a few years.
At that time it was his Dad that raced these... appears it still is. Thanks for posting Scott.

It's just absolutely beautiful here this time of year. Reds and yellows and oranges... mixed in with the Evergreens... and the azure blue skies...
I took this picture more because of the mountains in the background because that's where I was headed in the Jeep (Boulder City - ghost town).

Here's a few from the inlaws lake house. Its an old sand qarry, then it was a public beach. Then back in the 70's it was Taken private and my inlaws owne half of it now! 80 acres total with 40 being water, 45 feet at the deepest point.

Greg, my Mom work camps during the summer in Three Forks MT and when they got there this spring there was an owl sitting on a nest near their spot. Pretty soon pictures started showing up in my inbox of Mom and baby Ollie.
Here's Mom

They watched him grow up and took pictures every day. The day he fell out of the nest was stressful for all of them. Turns out, he figured out how to fly pretty quickly.

Nice pictures!!
Owls are cool, we have 5 that hang out in the cottonwoods along the river at the ranch. I'll pull right up to them (20-30') on a 4-wheeler and have a little conversation. :D
There's one in the orchard behind the house that's buzzed me a few times under the tree canopy and just about caused soilage. They're sneaky big suckers!

Sam
He was a problem dog when a lady gave him to me. He killed her neighbor's 2 dogs.
I found out why they use these dogs for police work.
He was a one-person dog for sure, he only cared about me.
He was a liability. He would attack anything that came near me.
He passed away but this photo brings back memories.

Now these aren't necessarily the greatest of pictures...but the subject is of note. I took these about 7:30 this morning out my bedroom door. The hay bales are about 400' from my house. I first saw the critter jump on a mouse out in the field when he was about halfway across the field closer to the house. I got a few shots of him in the field before he made his way over to the bales.

I've lived out here at this place for 14 years, that is the second time ever I've laid eyes on one. We hear them quite regularly howling in the middle of the night, but you don't seem them in the daylight typically.
It was surreal... The wife was none too pleased when she saw how effortlessly he jumped up onto that bale. We've got a regular 4' cedar picket fence around our back yard that our small dogs stay inside. Pretty certain he could get over it if he really wanted too.

They're thick at the ranch, burrows in draws 100 yds from the house and the multiple howling choruses down the river valley at night can get downright spooky. They've been harmless over the 100+ years the family has had the ranch there's been no human encounter issues. When they pack up and get on deer it's not pretty........so when we see them it's .223/.308 time.

I have a target rich environment for waterfowl this time of year, don't often get good shooting light like this though. We say a high of 40* today but the wind was clocking 17 mph so it was cold. Pic's make it look warm. :)

Here is an interesting one that I didn't get around to posting in the quake thread. It's pretty amazing when you think about how the plate shifted liked this for a few miles up the valley.
In this picture the crack was between 8"-10" and shifter about a foot.

Is that trials bike heaven or what!!!
The HDR is cool at times, easy to over do it, when it's not over done and makes you wonder if the image has been enhanced is when I like it most. I don't have the software or I'd definitely play with it.
It looks like you're posting them in the original size based on the link. SmugMug give me small, medium, large, XL 2XL, 3XL, and Original size options. I usually post in landscapes in XL and portrait orientation in 2XL.....because I use a 15" laptop and that's what displays best for my screen width.

I agree with you, it can be easy to over do it if you're not careful. If you want to play with it you can download it at www.photomatix.com for free, it leaves a Photomatix watermark in the image until you pay for the license, but all the functions and features are there. I also play with Gimp a little bit too, which is free period.
I'm posting the links from Facebook and I don't see an option for size anywhere. I'd like it if they could appear smaller on here, any thoughts?
