Thinking about going with a Pro Charger on a carburated BBC (468)....
looking at the P-1SC. Where is the best place to buy and find a good deal?

Well, we are a good source, sell to many members here, but you need to be thinking D1SC for a big block. P1SC will be working to hard for a bigger cube motor.

Frank is the best place to buy it, and you want at least a D1SC on a big block as he said.

Bewtween the Vortech and Pro Charger kits, what is the better one to go with?

Will the pro charger fit under the stock hood of a '70 Nova?

I prefer the Procharger. Yes, it will clear the hood (well the blower and drive will), You may have hood clearance issues with the carb hat though, almost definitely. You may have to trim the inner fenderwell on the drivers side also.

I'll second Frank on this one. I got my setup from him, great guy and has helped me with more than just the original purchase..

I went with the F1R for my Camaro, and I did have some hood clearance issues, but I wanted a cowl hood anyways, so it worked for me. But Jody is right I think if you run the low profile carb hat with a dual plane manifold you can get it to fit under a stock hood....

Frank is the way to go! Honest guy, great to talk with and he will help you out if you have any questions or concerns!! I bought my F1 from him and wouldn't think twice about buying from him again!!
Good Luck!!

Please consider EFI, I will help you find some
"junk-yard" parts, good items though inexpensive.

You will find that you will boil the fuel inside your carb.

I have an ASM BBC intake (rec-port) with a hugh Air/Water intercooler I made to fit inside the long runner intake.
This is a used item, for a good price (PM). I can send a picture ?
The ECU-882C-2-VR would be a good choice.
