I wonder if Steve has an inside guy over at SC. Hehehe. Did Steve write the article and do the photographs? Pretty soon he will be an editor of his own magazine. Plus he has owned enough cars over the years to keep features going on for a loooooooong time.

I have noticed that PHR and their writing group always tell you a story in every feature. Even if the car is not your style or taste you always get a kick out of reading the article because you learn something about the owner of the ride. This is so much better then detailing the specs of the car in written form that other magazine usually write.

Bye the way Paul, Steve is nice guy and all but do not suck up to him. He has a big enough ego as it is. All you are doing is inflating it even more.

I have guys everywhere.. lol..

Actually they asked me to be in thier LS issue. They wanted a story that told more about the experience of putting in an LSx engine than just a regular "car feature". The cover was a bonus since we nailed (Harrington and myself) a great shot.

We both took the shots in the story and I wrote it. It was a blast.

Yea, I like to tell a story with my stuff, even Hometown. A car is a bunch of parts, it's the "story" that's interesting.

<-- no ego.. ok, maybe some...

My cover beats your cover.. lol..

Note to everyone. It's important for the pro-touring segment that these issues do well on the newstand since it will show that the build style has a fan base, so buy an issue if you can.

Oh John, I was going to edit your link to show my issue, but I thought that was mean.. lol

Available on a newstand near you:
