Default June PHR

Got my June issue Tuesday, but I have been out of town for a few days. J2's project is in Hometown as well as Marty's Syclone, and me! Page 28.

You may have read elsewhere, but my first track day with the car was last Saturday. A few minor issues like a breather losing some oil, power steering cavitating, possible brake knockback and a vibration between 130 and 140 mph.

I was lapping Road America in the low 2:40s and saw a top speed at an indicated 155 near the end of the front straight.

Overall I am very happy with its performance and can't wait to get out and run it again.

I was just reading on your car. Very sweet ride. Did you ever run against your friends m3 and nsx?

Not yet. On a longer track it will not be a challenge. This thing has too much power. On a shorter track that rewards handling more than HP it might be another story. They are two guys that work with my wife. She is bringing a copy of the mag in on Monday to see what they think.

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

Jim lives less than 5 miles from me. He was at the track and saw it run. I know he took a few shots of me on the track. We will see what happens.

Jeff -

Congrats on the coverage. Your car looks great in print. Very nice. Very nice. Cars like yours are what keeps the growing interest in Pro Touring rides.

Jeff I enjoyed that article and the car looks GREAT! Those aren't bad lap times for a big track and a 40 yr old car...
