Default Super Chevy Show @ California Speedway

Any comments on the show? I personally think that it was a waste of money to attend. How would you compare it to the Pomona Super Chevy Show?

Any Comments

Here is a link to some pics I took there really wasn't much to look at.

For not too much to look at there seemed to be some cool cars. Shows on the East Cost rarely get any P-T style cars.

I was there; did you see the black 1970 Camaro? The car was incredible. I spoke with the owner, super nice guy, had over $400,000 and 3 yrs in the build.

He said that he might attend Good guys at Delmar. Wants to do the in door circuit for the next I years. Was there only for magazine exposure.

Yes I did see that car and yes it was spectacular! I actuallt thought there would be a bigger showing than what was out there. It seemed the majority of the folks came out for the drag racing.

Super Chevy needs to take a clue from GoodGuys and retire their antiquated indoor judging criterias if they want people to show up. I don't need some nerd pouring over my car telling me what b.s. "class" it belongs in and if I correctly indexed all my nuts and bolts or if that's the correct fuel filter for a 63 Chevy. Have one set of criteria for the resto geeks and everyone else is qualified for "picks" like GoodGuys. As in; you're cool and so is your car, here's a trophy.

That's my $.02 and if you want to see the nicest cars in So-Cal and the next 4 states around you, go to Del Mar this weekend.
