Default no more boat rides

well i tried to stuff my 245/45s under the front of my car and it was just too slammed with the cut factory coils.. i went to the local dirt track store and picked up some afco 5x9.5 650lb springs and some adjustable coil mounts. I just figured i would give a reveiw and tell every one how much better the car responds and encounters the road.. no more cushy boat riding.. the car handles so much better. the ride is NOT stiff at all. if anyone is skeptical about putting 650 or 700 lb springs on their car dont be. im really excited that im putting new bushings and shocks on the car next week along with the guldstrand mod! just the difference these springs made is amazing... i also really like the adjustability factor.. i changed the stance twice already and its just right now.. it only takes about an hour.. bable off..

the bushings will make a huge difference on your ride. i love the way mine handles with the polys and eibach springs.
i'm about to get the bilstein shocks for all four corners and new sway bars to tighten up even more.

nice looking PT you have there.

remember to switch it solid body mounts.. it will also take alot of the "canoe" out.. also, del-alums will give a better ride than polys (and they dont squeak), and boxing the stock controll arms are a good cheap way (if you do it yourself ofcourse) of firming up the handling and getting more precise steering...

and when you put it all together, DONT allign it to stock spec's with those tires you should be in arround .5 neg camber and 4 deg caster.. not sure where the sweetspot toe-wise is with those tires but im sure somone here does..

thanks.. i bought some jegs brand solid mounts but i dont know that im satisfied with the way they want you to do the install so i may have to make my own lower half.. i plan on getting some solid steel bushings and honing them out and pressing a delrin sleeve in them.. thanks for the advice..
