1 Hammer. I Yankee socket set (cresent wrench), Screw driver with switch out tip. Gas can. 2 MRE's and water, box of honey Buns (not the sweet kind-the feminine type) duct tape and an insanely sharp knife.

I went to Sam's club and bought a cheap, fairly comprehensive tool kit. Came in a plastic box and has a good selection of wrenches, sockets, etc.

Hey, ahhhh, JT.... you're not depending on your POS Nextel phone, are you? Well, then again, maybe you got a new battery.

J/K man. Nothing but love.

Rick, I'm proof that a decent tool kit and now spare starter parts are a great idea, especially on a long road trip!
So if your coming to Carlisle this year, please bring your new kit, I may need it.

Ahhh Nextel/Sprint...there is a whole 'nuther thread. Those dudes are spending all their Money on Racing. My service has gone noticably down hill since they mergered...and they became the Cup Sponsor.

Conspiracy theorists unite.

Amen brother...The WORST coverage, dropped calls etc...we even have a tower located on the Grounds, and it still sucks, one side of the circle track has no coverage...if I turn my head the wrong way at my desk, 4 bars to NO bars...Most of GM has gone over to Verizon, just not our groups yet...yet.

Personally, I cannot wait...I cannot believe they are still in business....and Yes, noticably worse since thier "merger"...
