Default Don't Forget!

To bring home flowers! And maybe a card to the wives and girlfriends! It is some sort of holiday I guess??

Me, I will be relaxing all day and smiling because I didn't have to get a girlfriend anything this year. The single life!

There are positives and negatives with single life. We (my fiancee and me) will be having "adult fun" toinight while you will be ????????? by yourselfI dont think its too tough to run to the store for some candy and flowers, oh and a sappy card. Its cheaper than going to the strip club and drollin on myself.

Yep ordered flowers to be delivered to her work, and a 5 hour stay at a spa. A Masssage, facial, all that stuff. Gotta love it.

Course she lets me order just about anything I want, so I dont complain. I might even get a little somethin, somethin too.

I made these for the wife last night and gave them to her this morning.

"It couldn’t be easier to make bath salts, which re very relaxing to throw in a hot bath and the end of a hard day. Just mix one cup Epsom salt with one cup baking soda. Add a tablespoon of glycerin (for softer skin) and five to ten drops of food coloring. Mix well, so the color is distributed evenly. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil if you like as well. Put in a decorative glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Instruct the recipient to use three to five tablespoons per bath.

Another great bath treat is a milk bath. This mixture can be as simple as two cups of powdered milk and two or three drops of your favorite essential oil mixed together. You could also add ¼ cup of oatmeal to soothe rough skin, a handful of your favorite dried herbs, ½ cup of Epsom salt and/or baking soda, even a splash of olive oil.

Use a cup or so in each bath and remind the recipient to use a drain basket to catch any solid parts that you included in your recipe. "

Last night, I got my shopping done! Dz roses, box of choc, other misc. candies, father of the bride part 1 dvd, and now I am done.

Do you know how V-day got started? I just found this out the other day. Below explains why we have Valentines day. Completely retarded

"The Benedictine Monk's Book of Saints lists eight Saint Valentines, with two of them having feasts days on February 14. My favorite legend of the origins of "valentines day" are attributed to the earliest St. Valentine. It is said that Emperor Claudius of Rome attempted to abolish marriage because he felt married men did not make good soldiers. Valentine, a priest, then married lovers secretly. The Emperor learned of this and had Valentine imprisoned, where he died on February 14, 271 A.D. This probably never happened, and the romantic customs of February 14th are associated with Valentine in name only simply because his feast day happens to be on the same day that similar pagan customs were already being celebrated. In ancient Rome, the festival of Lupercalia occurred around this time, and young men would draw the names of young women from a box. They would be paired up for the festival or for the year. As Christianity spread through Europe, many pagan celebrations were Christianized by being associated with Christian saints or other holidays. Valentine's Day customs have been observed in England since the 1400s, and by the 1600s people were sending valentine's to each other. The first commercial valentines appeared around 1800."
