Default And now for something completely different.. a diamond

Valentines day is fast approaching!

Been in my safe forever. Had it appraised and I would rather have the $$ than a hunk of carbon.

Was certified by the GIA and would look great mounted up. It's pretty high quality, but I would rather have the $$$ to buy car parts. lol -- the GIA cert cost me $125...

.59 carat
Clarity VS1
Color G (colorless)
Round Brilliant

Had another shop (AGS) grade it and they gave it a better score of VVS1 and a color of F. Replacement cost was listed as $2765.

A jewlery store offered to consign it for $1611 and they would keep 30%. Seemed like a hassle to go through, so thought I would try here. Valentines day is around the corner.

$800 shipped OBO. That's under 30% of it's apprasied value and half of what the jewlery store would consign it for.

My wife has enough jewlery

Sale includes all the certs and documentation. If interested I can fax over or scan and print the certs. I also have all the various size measurments.

Thanks

What do you want a picture of.. the diamond or the report from the GIA? The stone is nearly flawless and colorless..

Just let me know. If you buy I will even throw in a few smaller diamonds of unknown quality.. lol.. It's funny what you accumulate over time.

Oh no, she wouldn't ever think she has enough jewlery, but she doesn't want this stone since it came from a ex of mine (long ago). No biggie. Thought this was the easier route and if this doesn't work then I will go hunt a jewlery story that I think I can trust for consignment.

hey if the deal falls through with the previous offer, I'm next in line. I've had all my wifes jewelry custom made and I still owe her a little something for my 7 month old son. this would make a perfect center stone for the ring she wants. I'll PM as well. Pay-pal trigger finger waiting.....

not that I have to tell everyone how good of a guy steve is, but I'll put a plug in anyhow. The Diamond purchase went off w/o a hitch and was everything it was reported to be. thanks again steve, don't spend it all in one place ..oh wait, you're a lateral-g member. That won't be hard.

Hell, it was mentally spent before I got it.. Recaro seats baby!

Glad you are happy with the purchase and thanks for being an A+ buyer!

I'm sure your wife will be happy with the surprise you have planned.
