Default DSE kit upgrade

I noticed in a CHP or PHR (I forget) "new parts" section a blurb about DSE's new 2nd Gen Mini-tub kit. One of the interesting features about the kit was the pre-fabbed frame relief fill plates. Where in the 1st gen kit you have to fabricate the fill plates on your own from 1/8" steel, in the 2nd gen kits the fill plates come in the kit, ready to weld.

Wondering if they might offer similar plates for the 1st gen kits going forward and perhaps offer the plates to those who have already purchased, but not yet installed 1st gen mini-tub kits.

Anyone know?

Default me too!

I am curious about the same question. I am getting ready to do mine anytime now. The pieces look easy to fab, but prefab would be easier.

Default Dse

Call them up I'm sure they would sell you those peices to fill in the rail. But as stated they are not hard at all to fab up.

Could anyone give me an idea of what it would cost to install mini tubs in a 69 Camaro?

Also, I see 2 inch kits and 3 inch kits. what depth do you recommend and why?

Thanks,

tyoneal

Unless it's something totally new, they only offer one tub width.

As stated about 40 hours. That is what it would take to do the hole job. There maybe some guys that can do it fast but the end results is what counts.
