I'm not sure, but I've heard many "Pre-bent" kits aren't totally pre-bent. On some kits, you still need to make a bend or two to get them installed correctly. Otherwise, I'm not sure.
I guess if I ordered a pre-bent kit and it fit that poorly, I would try to exchange it if possible. I would at least contact the compay that I got it from and let them know what their prodect looks like. I belive tht most comapnies want to hear feedback of their products, either good or bad.
-Even though you have taken it out of the package and tried to install it, try to plead your case with the shop who sold you the kit. They may be understanding.

That's not even close. Maybe they sent you the wrong ones, or maybe it was a mis-label? (there's a term in the industry for that, but I can't remember it now...)
