Having used both, I prefer Bill Mitchell's WinGEO, which is also pretty darned expensive. I haven't used the Perf Trends stuff in years, but it worked fine once you figured out the little peculiarities, etc (common to ALL software programs). WinGEO has a ton of functionality that I haven't even dove into yet, it is really powerful, and Bill himself is a very savy racer from way back and is still really active, as a result the software gets updates and improvements frequently.
I think you can still try the Performance Trends setup for ten days free, pretty neat that they do that.
