It was on V8TV tonight. Triple digits, smokey burnouts, bouncing off the rev limiter, wrong side of the road.
That was awesome!
Finally testing a car how you know we'd all like to drive it.
A whole bunch of nice project cars for 07 too.
Nice job Kev.

Thanks, Jeff - here's the clip - the head has the intro for the show (and a shot of our '71 Cutlass S) and then it goes into the GT500 piece - it's about 8 mins. long, 12.8 megs.
He tailed me for about 5 minutes, but didn't stop me. I think he just wanted to see the car. The tricky part is trying to explain the cameras stuck all over the car and why I'm talking to them! Luckily we shot that in a pretty rural area where the local law enforcement is pretty forgiving.
He missed the time when I was driving on a rural road with the intent of matchnig the car's abilities to the road... rather than obey the speed limit, I thought it would be fun to see what speed the car was capable and comfortable cruising at on a particular strech. I passed a 40mph speed limit sign in a curve at 118... Whoops!

That is completely bitchin! Great segment, thanks for sharing. Looks like it was a bunch of fun, I can only imagine the parts that "didn't" make the show.
