Default Making a DSE coil over setup Adjustable.

I had an idea on how to make the DSE coil over setup adjustable on the car but Im not sure if it would work. What if you cut a window in the side of the subframe and maybe weld a doublers around the opening to help add strength. I have not got my coil over setup yet so this may not even come close to working so you guys tell me. Do the coil overs come with adjusting wrenches or do you use a screwdriver and hammer to knock the adjusters around the shock body. LOL
