Default 420.4 cubic inches of pure sillyness

Just a heads-up, in less than 24 hours you'll all be seeing pictures of my engine finished. I've been waiting 5 weeks, and living in NH, this is about the most exciting thing next to Wal-mart and NASCAR weekends. I'll have all the specs and pics tomorrow

I am on Spring Break, if I go on AIM it consumers my life...I try to stay away from it, and get work done. Being on here is bad enough lol. Once I get back at school I'll give you a buzz on there.

haha, I'll post the specs as soon as I get the pictures up tomorrow guys, I promise. As for right now, I'm looking at 600-625 hp normally, and max of 950 hp on nitrous, i'll have all sorts of dyno sheets and videos if Scott would like to post by the end of next week

Hmmm... how do I put this...

mega dissapointment this afternoon, not only was my engine NOT complete, some of the things I asked him to put on the engine (such as the comp cams 3-piece timing cover instead of a cheapo 30 dollar steel one) weren't adressed Chad's a great guy though, he said he'll toss the timing cover in for free since everythings been such hell, which is incredibly nice of him. The other thing was that my heads didn't flow as much as I had thought they would, I was expecting in the 280-290 cfm range, maybe kissing 300 if I were lucky, but all they could muster was a paltry 260 cfm so my estimates on power are now 550~ and 575~.

Oh well though, the dyno time is set for tuesday or wednesday night, I'm bringing a 12 pack for the event, and if I see anything above 575 horsepower, I'll pretty much crap myself. BUT, this should only be temporary, and I'm shopping right now for a set of bare CNC'd 220 AFR's

well then, onto the specs:

-1974 400 block, 010 high nickel content, bored .030, clearanced, decked, deburred, blah blah blah...
-Eagle forged 4340 rotating asm, 3.875 stroke with 6 inch H-beam rods, Ross flat tops with (-8cc) valve reliefs
-Speed-Pro nitrous rings (not too sure I'm happy with them)
-Moroso high volume pump
-Edelbrock Victor E intake
-Brodix -8 heads, ported to match gaskets, 2.08/1.6, 66 cc's
-Comp Cams cam I made, specs:

Intake: .616 Exhaust:.629
Lobe center: 112 Valve overlap: 30.0
Intake duration: 248 Exhaust duration: 260

specs set at 1.6 rocker

-Comp Cams solid super roller lifters
-Comp Cams Hi-Tech pushrods
-Scorpion 1.6 roller rockers
-Comp Cams Magnum wet belt drive timing set
-Chrome 2.5 hp ministarter
-ARP everything
-Fel-Pro .051 head gaskets
-Edelbrock water pump
-Barry Grant 850 mechanical with annular boosters
-MSD pro-billet mechanical distributor
-MSD 8.8 wires
-MSD 6-AL timing box, blaster 3 coil
-March Performance serpentine belt pulley type thing, power steering and alternator only
-and hopefully that 3-piece timing cover from comp cams...

did i forget anything?
