Looking for a SBC mild build complete (Nor-cal)
Like the title states, i'm pulling the Olds out of my Keaton and going sbc, much cheaper to run and get parts for. I figure with the number of LS swaps out there someone may have one laying around. Looking in Nor-cal, trying here first, don't really want to buy new or deal with c/l although i might...
Boat doesn't get used much and not sure if i want to sell, right know the Olds is bad (the shop who did the three angle grind a few years back used wrong head gaskets, long story. I didn't pay all the bill due to other unmet "promises" on their part). High quality shop too, but they only wanted to work on the "big boy boats" of which mine is not.
Cheers, mike

Buddy of mine just did an LS3 swap from a 383 sbc with a Holley TBI setup this past summer. It might still be sitting at West Coast Muffler in Concord. It was swapped out b/c it was burning oil after a fresh rebuild and he was fed up and just wanted a stock crate motor.

thanx Bob, i dont think the pontiac head will sync with the olds, and at 1500-2000 exhaust, it wouldnt deem itself cost effective.
May be interested in the chevy though.....thanx
