I lust after this car. I had a black 1999 528i, and I liked the six, but imagined having an LS in it the whole time; so much of the BMW stuff is only engineered to last 100k, which can get annoying. Unfortunately, such a swap job as this is much harder to get away with in CA. If I ever build another car, it would be something close to this (a stock CTSV engine would be killer), or it will be able to catch some sweet air . . .

Yeah I had a couple higher mileage bimmers a decade or so ago... loved em but they do start to fall apart on ya.
