So if I understand this correctly, you purchased a new GM crate LS7, and it was hurt. Is there not a warranty from GM, that would replace the hurt block, and like components?
Would you sell the hurt block?

Another option would be to have Steve Demirjin at RED in Oceanside, CA do a resleeved 5.3 and use those billet main caps. He offers new alum 5.3 blocks for $850 to get the process started. Or have him simply machine that block which he does all the time.
He knows what he is doing.

Scott,
I have ALL the components from the block
Believe or not, GM wanted the block destroyed (aka sledge hammer to it), so block is gone
that is why I just need a new block, I literally have a complete engine (with original and new coated bearing sets and new #3 piston/ rod assembly w/ new rings, seals gaskets & bolts)
Thanks, Jeff

Nice option Mark!
I was leaning towards the GM block, in case I have to sell it later?? ( you know how plans change, LOL)
Thanks, Jeff

If it's for sale you must include a price as per forum rules
Are you a moderator? If not, please leave the "policing" of the forum to them
My ad clearly states that I am looking for a block to buy, I only mentioned that I may consider selling it if plans change
Have a great day
Jeff

This isn't Pro Touring. Jeff has followed the rules. At this point it's WTB, not a for sale. If he does cross over, Jeff will repost or update this tread. I don't see an issue.
