Default 1968 F100 Turbo 6.0 GM, Crown Vic, Rushforths, Wilwood

Item Location (City/State)ro Touring 1968 F100 Turbo LQ4

Price:$45,000

Description:Full Frame off build all work except paintwork done by Sean Fogli.

Truck has been on the Cover of Classic Trucks with a full feature write up, Hot Rod Network feature truck. 2nd in class at the Portland Roadster Show 2015, Numerous awards at a few local car shows. Turns heads everywhere it goes.

Where to even start on an add like this.

Pulled from a field 100% rust free a few years ago and started the build. Truck was stripped to a bare frame. Front suspension was all removed and a late model crown victoria front clip was installed.

This is a bolt on style cast aluminum K member with rack and pinion and disc brakes.

Front Brakes have been upgraded with a full TCE Willwood 14" setup with 6 piston calipers and two piece rotors.

Front has been lowered additionally with Naake Single Adjustable Coilovers.

Rear Suspension is still trusty leaf springs.

Rearend is a big bearing 9" with a 3.5 gear ratio and a limited slip differential.

Rear brakes are again a two piece rotor with smaller 12.4" rotor and Willwood caliper. Rear was lowered by flipping the axle on top of the springs.

Engine is 6.0 LQ4 from a hummer, its all stock with the exception of a Mast Motorsports oil pan drilled and tapped for an oil drain. Engine had approximately 60k on it when pulled from the hummer.

Borg Warner s480 T6 framed turbo, 60mm Wastegate and Tial Blowoff valve. Truck manifolds flipped around and all v bands installed for gasketless removal of parts. All hot side parts were cerami-coated including downpipe.

Holley Billet fuel rails on LS1 intake manifold, Dual Bosch 044 pumps and 1/2" fuel line, Aeromotive regulator and guage. Fuel system should be good for well over 1,000 hp. Siemens Deka 80 LB injectors, 2 bar map sensor. Truck is tuned on HP Tuners

4L80 trans. Trans go shift kit installed. Has Circle d tripple disc billet converter in it built for this truck and a boosted 6.0. Trans runs drives and shifts awesome. Segment swap was done for the trans and it is controlled through the GM ECU and tuned through the HP Tuners.

Wheels and tires are 20x9 fronts and 20x10.5 rear. 255/40/20 front, 295/35/20 rears all michelin pilot super sports all around. All with less than 2,000 miles on them. Wheels are Rushforth Rated x's, hidden valve stems and polished inner and outer lips. Wheels are spotless and very nice.

Interior is nicely appointed, stock guages all work with the exception of the speedo. Its is a mechanical speedo and I have an electronic trans. There have been some releases on new parts lately, would be a super simple fix.

Interior was all sound deadened, inside of doors, back of cab, full floor.

Paint on interior is all original except for the doors, they were repainted at time of build. Interior paint is all in great condition.

New interior handles, carpet, rebuilt bench seat foam and burlap with new cover installed. Grant Steering wheel, B&M Shifter, new door sills, new headliner, new wing window seals, new felts, custom rear panels to finish back of cab, custom 6" speaker install. Retrosound head unit, pandora, bluetooth, i phone/ android capable. Nice radio. Heat works as intended, new heater control valve was installed as well. Its a super clean, mostly stock original. It still feels like an older pickup, but drives like a brand new truck.

All exterior trim was stripped, no emblems, fuel filler neck, side trim, logos are on the truck. Bumpers, grilled, mirror handles were all powdercoated with a Prisma Chrome and then a clear on top of it. Its a killer look and very easy to maintain. Only logo on the truck is the LSx logo on the rear and its color matched and adhesive taped on the truck.

Paint is a single stage Whimbledon white, it has all been cut and buffed and the exterior of the truck is very straight. There is a small door ding on the drivers door at the bottom where the door got opened into a piece of curb and some cracking in the seamsealer on the truck, full disclosure, I dont want to hide anything from anyone. I am pretty OCD and most others never notice it. If you are looking for a perfect truck with a $30k paint job please understand, this is a very nice paint job done by a professional painter but it was a $10k job so keep that in mind.

Engine bay has been shaved, inner fenders rebuild to eliminate the battery boxes on both sides and everything sprayed body color. The engine bay is very clean and tidy.

Aluminum Radiator, electric fans, Hella H4 headlights. All new lighting, seals, windshield was replaced at time of build. I can ramble on and on.

Excellent truck for someone looking for a built very, very bad pickup for a reasonable price. I am a little flexible on price as I would like to see it go to a good home. Have enclosed trailer and can help with delivery within reason.

Truck runs and drives excellent. Still needs final tuning on the turbo setup at full boost for some clean up, waiting on better weather here to finish. Full disclosure, truck does have a couple of small leaks once it sits for a few days. Rear Diff and trans pan.

Please do not hesitate to inquire with questions. I can be reached all the time at 503.621.4186

Saw this truck at the PW show earlier this year in Portland and probably spent 10-15 min just checking it out.

Good luck with the sale, it truly is a beautiful truck.
