Ricks...Does first gens only. He really go tired of the poor quality of parts offered and began manufactering them to his and GM's standards. They are really big time and a great bunch to deal with. I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

We have been in the Camaro business for 20 years so we know al these guy's. Word on the street is Classic Industires does more sales volume then number 2, 3 and 4 combined! Classic also is OER, the numer one manufacturer of repo parts. Classic also has the best catalog also. Rick's does manufacturer a lot of parts (which Classic sells), but service at Rick's (which used to be the absolute best) is now not so good. I have been a Rick's and Clasisic distributor for many years. If you need a lot of stuff, we discount Ricks and Classic products dual memberships of Lateral G / GPSuperStore.com members.

Classic is great also, but as a Georgia guy, I tend to use Rick's. Classic has it's own service issues too, but I am not gonna knock them in any way. Just me but it has to be a logistical nightmare to run companies of this size.

Rick's- First Generation Only

Classic- Multiple lines of classic cars.

Both great companies.

Yeah Sparky, Bob is a great guy and had always had some neat hard to find stuff. Only real reason I brought up biggest is because he asked who manufactured the most parts, which is OER.

Jim, I don't know what the hell is going on at Rick's to cause the problems. It seems part of the problem is that Rick is not there. I just know it ain't as good as it once was.

I'm pickey, I like Ricks stuff, but like Frank said they have probs every now and then, I used to buy from Classic, but I got some junk, I haven't needed to buy anything lately,

I have a Classics Industries Camaro catalog on my desk at work. A co-worker of mine is restoring an old Barracuda. Everytime he stops by to chat he looks down at the catalog and just shakes his head. He says, "You Camaro guys don't know how good you have it.....makes me sick."

He's right....we're spoiled brats.

I deal mostly with National Parts Depot and Classic Industries.

I used Classic Industries for most of the parts I needed for my build. Even though they may be the biggest, they still can have back order problems like the A/C controls that I've been waiting about 4 years on. I really like how it is in their catalog every year with no mention that you will never get it.
