Default Super built SBC fuel injection

Item Location (City/State):San Francisco

Price:2900

Description:
I'm finally gonna sell my small block. It's professionally built by Bad *** Race Engines in sonoma ca. It's got over 11k into it. Yes 11k. it's not a typo. I have all the receipts. it's super complete. from fan to flywheel, oil pan to fuel injection. basically a straight drop in for someone. it made 396wrhp and 382rwtq. I have the dyno sheet to prove it.

Specs,
Mass flo fuel injection, victor jr intake, 4 bolt main, ARP everything, 4340 Forged crank, 6" H-beam rods, Forged super lite JE pistons, Plasma moly rings, Custom Spec roller cam, Light weight transfer bar roller lifters, Cloyes double roller chain set, AFR heads, TFS aluminum roller rockers, Chevrolet valve covers, Sanderson 1 3/4 headers, mallory Hi-fire ignition, blah, blah,blah...... you get the picture. asking 2900

now the bad. it's needs rings. my hot rod buddy said that you can't run moly rings on the street for a longtime. they don't seal. He did a leak down test and it's leaking. the motor is still in the car. so you can hear it run and I can drive you around in it. going to pull it out in a few weeks tho.

How many miles are on this engine? What stroke/cubic inch?
Your hot rod buddy must know that most OEM rings are moly coated. The moly works well as long as cylinder wall finish isn't too coarse, which depends on honing method used. I've seen moly rings go 200k and engine still run fine.

That's just what my buddy said. Never really looked into it myself. But anyhoo here is the build sheet that was given to me when I bought the car.

Lots of high end parts in this engine!
The smoke...all the time, or deceleration? Get worse at idle, until you start to move?

Sounds good! You stated in your original post before you edited it, that it was smoking, is why I asked.
Great price!
