Default 69 Firebird "cocktail Shaker" trunk supporting brackets needed.

I am looking for the small structural braces in the trunk of a 69 Firebird convertible that get spot welded to the underside of the trunk weatherstrip well. The "cocktail shakers" get bolted to these. If someone has a car they parted out or a junker and these braces are still in tact I could surely use them. Of course I prefer rust free parts if available. They are about 24" long, they go from the back of the wheel well tub to the tail panel, spot welded to the wheel well tub bracket and to the underside of the weatherstrip well. Stick your head in the trunk and look up, right there both sides, drivers and passengers. Please let me know if you can help me out. The cocktail shakers get bolted to these. They should be fairly easy to remove. There has got to be a boatload of these braces out there for no one ne else would need these silly things in a swap meet situation. Why mine are missing remains a mystery. Please help if you can. Thank You. Tim john---

Camaro brackets should be the same if that helps. 67-69 should be the same too.

Thank you for chiming in. 69 Firebird cocktail shakers are Pontiac specific for 69, 67/68 are the same but 69 is a one year only, Pontiac specific. The braces I was not sure so thank you for clarifying. Tim john---

The Camaro and Firebird are virtually identical. Maybe the heavier Pontiac engine is the difference but what about the Chevy big block cars? I am guessing anything will be fine if you are going LS and especially if you are installing subframe connectors. I am not even sure they are needed with welded in subframe connectors and solid body mounts etc.

Hi Don, yes, going LS, frame connectors and solid stock height body mounts but I want my trunk/car to appear stock and original. I have the correct shakers but need the upper mounting brackets/braces for a factory install appearance. The goal is modern drivetrain with stock appearing everywhere else. Tim john---

the fronts are different, but the rear shakers should be the same. I might have the floor braces. Every new dynacorn floor comes with them installed and I know we have removed them in the past, just don't know if we kept them.
