Default 69 Camaro Trunk Pan Exhaust Cut Outs

Getting ready to install the DSE quadralink and I see some builds with a triangular are cut out and raised up into the trunk pan. I'm guessing this makes it easier to run the exhaust out around the area. I'm planing on having the exhaust run out the tail pan. Anyone have any pics and guidelines who's done this before?

I didn't cut the big corner out of the truck like most do. I just cut out what was needed.

Also I kept it simple when I exited out the back. no fancy tips or machined tail pipes. Just a little bead so it didn't look like I just cut it out.

There are tons of photos on the DSE projects page. I always cruise that for new ideas. I was also thinking of doing what is shown above, just cutting what is needed.

Here's an underside shot of mine. Car is on a rotisserie, tuned upside down. I'm running DSE Quadralink with 3" exhaust. Narrowed and corners notched on VaporWorx tank. Hope this helps.
