From my research it doesnt fit Vortec heads or I would have bought this an hour after he posted it for sale. Makes me want to put my GMPP Aluminum Fastburn 220cc heads up for sale..haha. See the attachment for the DFI info.

I can purchase an intake for $485. Am I missing something here?

I was letting you know that the Accel DFI Proram intake does not work with Vortec style heads. If you found a SBC EFI intake that fits your RPM needs and works with this setup that is great. I was only trying to help.

I meant no offense to you at all. I simply tried to ask that by changing to an intake that would fit my needs (my brothers build actually), is there anything else that this needs to work.
You stated that you'd have bought this if the intake was for vortec heads, so I figured I was missing something that would cause this not to work, if I changed intakes, which is cheap in comparison to the value of this deal. The link you sent was a help. Again, I meant no offense.

I don't have a lot of experience with crossing over the intakes, I know the biggest differences is the fastening holes. 8 bolts for vortec , 12 bolts for first gen Chevy heads and the vortec bolts are on a different angle. They do make a jig to drill the manifold or one for the heads to fit, but I still think there is still leaking and fitment issues.

Also I found I can still use the supercharger with some brackets from lssimple.com. So the supercharger is no longer for sale.
