Default Solvent Based painting in California?

Hi, Is there any place in California where its legal to paint with solvent based paint? I live in the SF Bay Area and they only paint water based.

Default Paint

Hollister still does.. At least last year.. Not sure of 2016

I know you can still purchase certain automotive paint products and solvents in San Benito County, that you can't in all the surrounding Counties and Bay Area.

Call Doug at Automotive Color - 831-637-9090
He might give you better insight.

Just use your living room, just turn off your wall heater.

You can still buy the paint and paint at home. They limit you to 3 or 4 gallons a year and certain products are not available but most are.

I believe they still do up near Sonora (lower foothills). You may want to call around up that way and see.

It'd be kinda hard to get the Bronco in, at least all in one piece...

Jerry's paint supply in Sonora is one place to get it. You can still get Omni, PPG off brand local but I don't like using it.
