Description:I'm not using these seats, you should buy them! Recaro can describe them better than I can.

RECARO Sport: Luxury with Performance Capabilities
If you need comfort but desire true sport performance the RECARO Sport is the answer. The RECARO Sport combines the look and features needed for performance driving with unmatched comfort. The integrated headrest, belt pass-throughs and aggressive bolstering take their styling and performance cues from racing seats. The adjustable lumbar support, generous foam cushioning and host of premium features ensures the Sport offers the ultimate in comfort for everyday driving. Sacrifice nothing with the RECARO Sport.

PREMIUM FEATURES:

RECARO Design: The RECARO Sport provides the support of a sport performance seat but it is all street legal. The integrated headrest with belt pass-throughs, aggressively bolstered shoulder, back and thigh areas and sleek cover designs make Sport the ultimate in a “street legal” performance seat.
RECARO Ergonomics: RECARO seats offer un-equaled ergonomics. The unique S shaped structure of RECARO seats provide "built-in" lumbar support. By design, RECARO seats promote an ergonomically correct, comfortable experience. RECARO seats deliver world-class comfort by aligning the spinal cord in the most natural and healthy position like no other aftermarket automotive seat can. You only have to sit in a RECARO seat to "feel the difference."

Manually Adjustable Lumbar Support: The air chamber inflates and deflates to your desired level of lumbar support. Adjust the lumbar to ergonomically support your lower back and meet your comfort needs.

Shoulder, Back and Thigh Bolsters: Driving in a RECARO seat isn’t all about correct sitting, it’s about performance too. The pronounced shoulder, back and thigh bolsters will keep you firmly in place under the most aggressive driving situations.

Adjustable Backrest: Easy manual dial mechanism moves the backrest into the correct and comfortable driving position.

Integrated Headrest: Integrated headrest is designed with belt pass-throughs for 4 point belt harnesses for a sport appearance.

Dual Manual Seat Back Release: Moves the backrest forward for easy access to the rear seat compartment.

High Quality Foam Padding: The entire seat is lined with thick, dense high quality foam, adding to seats sport feel and ensuring long lasting support.

Upholstery: RECARO chooses the best materials for its covers and then sews them with precision, assuring the seat will look great for years.

These have never been in a car that ran, so no miles on them at all. They have been mounted and the underside of the drivers side has some scratching and marring on the plastic shell from mock up. They are upholstered in black vinyl and black suede, part numbers 265.00.YS11 for the driver side and 265.10.YS11 for the passenger. Retail on these is $1,145 each plus $200 for sliders. The whole package for $2,000.

Seats are located halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee and I would prefer local pickup. If they need to ship, buyer covers costs. If they are paid for, I can hold and bring with me to PRI in December.

Without a doubt one of the best investments you can make for your car. Afterall they are your primary interface. I've had my Recaro's 25 years and the still look and feel like new. The Recaro's and T56 Magnum are without a doubt the best money I've spent on my car......well, and the Momo wheel. These will sell fast.

In the description on the Recaro page it says to check with a dealer about the appropriate sliders for your application. Which sliders do you have and are they correct for a 69 Camaro?

Recaro does not make vehicle specific sliders that I am aware of. The sliders that are on the seats are the Recaro double locking universal sliders. For most people these get paired with a set of brackets from Planted and then they become a bolt in. I welded some tabs on these sliders for my application.

This is the company I used in the early '90's http://wedgebrackets.com/seat-brackets-home/

It's a Monte Carlo purchased from Wine Country Motorsports at Sears Point in '93.
