Very cool story Bret. I love reading about the history of hot rodding from the guys who were a part of it from the beginning. Something cool about their simple ingenuity. The References to the Olds hubcaps and riding on the a frames is entertaining. Especially considering the mods and some of the insane workmanship many are doing on this forum 50-60 years later. Puts it all in perspective of how difficult the early hot Rodders had it. No CNC machine's or computers to model their ideas. Just putting different parts together in the hopes it would work.

Thanks for sharing. Awesome to see how far the hobby has come. You and your team should be very proud of the unique contribution you have had on hot rodding.
