Default Hi from eastern NC

Hi as you are all aware NC is the home of many nascar teams and awesome fab shops. But on my side of the state we are plagued with donks and tuners. I however love things that go fast and make loud noises that look and feel outside of the norm. So here is my latest build an anomaly on many levels. It probably wont fit here because I dont stray from cheap parts, I love my country and parts made here but my 5 figure salary wont fund such glory. So I will be using some chinesium here and there. my project is not another camaro (thank God) nothing against them but, really, who declared them the perfect platform. Its not even a sports car but, it is a chevy! Its a 85 chevy c10. So far it has a flip kit and 1.5 coils cut off. A l31 vortec 5.7 in bone stock trim, with a th400 trans. the plans are as follows.

1. 96 impala ss wheels
2. Junkyard front and rear sway bars
3. 700r4 trans
4. 3.08ish rear gears
5. OBS 60/40 split bench
6. Custom dash
7. custom door panels
8. drop spindles
9. new coil springs
10. oh and carpet

basically build a nice drivable street truck that looks great, is comfortable, and doesn't spend years on jack stands or cribbing instead of being enjoyed.

Welcome Big D! We have some pretty famous Nascar folks in my town also, and I'm not in NC. Pictures are necessary of said C10, before this goes any farther!

Welcome to the site! Glad to see the later C-10s getting some love, too. Good luck with the project.
