Default Power steering pump problems

i have not had the car running long and it seems my power steering pump is making all kinds of noise. Any have a good recommendation for a quality type 2 GM style pump? I will be road racing and auto crossing the car. Has a Dse front clip and a ls2 with a kb supercharger.

Thx

Hey Mike, no I do not have hydro boost. I tought o had all the air out it sounds ok when I start it for about 5 min the after a drive around it sounds louder than the Kb. I turned it from lock to lock slowly wit the cap off and still nothing.

Just a stab, but what pump do you have? Does the pressure match the rack....also double check your lines for proper routing.

Vince, I am running a Sweet Mfg. pump
Open flow 3.0 gpm
Flow @ 600 psi 3.2 gpm
Max flow is 1030psi

Good point if it matches the DSE rack I do not know?

.....also, which reservoir do you have and what fluid did you use.

-10 from reservoir to pump, right? Make sure that hose is vacuum rated as well.
