I went to the Alimo and loved it. For an afternoon I was 10 again looking where Davy Crockett actually stood. Then we went to the River walk and ate at Joe's Crab Shack. I had the Sam Adam's pot. Very good. Seems strang to travel over 2000 mile to eat lobster and crab done NE style.
Ls is it was nice today I let my grandson pick where we went. He picked the aquarium . You can buy some little shiners to feed to the fish( which my daughter quickly handed to me) he' 3 so he was cautious until I put my hand in with one in thane and a sting ray ate it and I pet him. Then he was all gun ho to try it. He got to pet a small one and was in heaven. Then he fed a tortoiuse they have walking around loose. He played for an hour in the bounce houses they have and finished the day running through the sprinklers.
I leave tomorrow at 5:30 this is going to be a long trip home knowing I won't see them for at least 9 months .
Too bad would have enjoyed meeting up too.
I was there for 3 days then came home. My poor daughter was just setting up a new house and trying to cram as much for me to see as she could so I figured I'd beat feet home so she could have time to do what she needed too. It was tough to leave them there so far away.
When my 3 year old grandson heard my wife was going to Fla. this week to see family he told her if you go there, then Voo voo (What he calls me) can come back to stay at my house. Thank God for Face Time!
