Default Jim Stehlin's '73 Camaro on Forgeline DS3 Wheels

Jim's '73 Camaro is powered by a 465rwhp 416ci Wegner LS3 mated to a Tremec T56 Magnum transmission. It rides on a Detroit Speed front subframe and DSE rear quadralink with RideTech triple-adjustable coilovers all around. His Wilwood disc brakes include 6 piston fixed calipers with 13-inch rotors, in the front, and single piston floaters with 12-inch rotors, in the rear. Most of the interior and exterior features of this car were done by Jim in his home garage, including much of the paint and bodywork, custom carbon hood, carbon front nose, carbon fenders, and carbon rear decklid. His front splitter is from Randy at D&Z Customs. His 18-inch BFG Rival tires (335/30ZR18 rear and 315/30ZR18 front) are wrapped around Forgeline DS3 wheels finished with Satin Black centers and Gloss Black outers with a custom pinstripe. Our digital marketing geek, John, did a full shoot on this car at the Midwest Musclecar Challenge last weekend. Jim is a cabinetmaker. He did a lot of the custom stuff himself.

As I understand it, I think that some of the pieces are real carbon fiber. Some of them are just wrapped in carbon-look vinyl. And a few are real carbon that still got wrapped in carbon vinyl. My guess is that the t-tops probably got wrapped.

That is pretty bad ass.
Love the colors and the interior. Awesome gauge cluster.

Thanks Mark. I'd be surprised if they were indeed carbon. Though, I'd love it if they were. For a caged car, I think carbon t tops would be a great idea.
