Default FS: 5th Gen Camaro Fuel Pump Module (Vaporworks style pump)

Item Location (City/State): Austin, TX

Price: $95 shipped

Description: I have a Rick's Tank with the Vaporworks setup, including the 5th Gen Camaro fuel pump. I have reached a point where I'm on the edge of the HP capabilities of this pump (650 - 675), so I just replaced it. This unit has 3800 miles on it and was working perfectly.

If you are thinking about ordering one of these Rick's tank setups, I recall the pump being an additional charge. Save a few bucks with this one.

Boxed up and ready to go, I did forget to snap a picture first, but can if really needed.

My understanding is vaporworks modifies the pump to use the internal regulator so its not a straight out of the box GM part. But you are correct I think they want $250-300 for the pump from ricks so this is a good deal.

Are you making those HP numbers to the wheels or flywheel? I'm making about 540rwhp and 520rwtq. Would that be pushing it with this pump?

I thought I read something about them modifying the pump also, but when I bought the replacement, Carl said I just needed to stick it in the tank. Which I did.

I'm making 540 to the rear wheels. I was concerned because I drop some pressure on my gauge as the RPM climb. Well, come to find out, I'm doing the same thing with the new pump I replaced it with, so it may have been a worthless switch for me. My gauge and my Holley both measure the pressure at the fuel rail while the PressureWorks controller I have measures close to the pump. Since I'm seeing the same effect with the new pump (the larger one), I think the pump was fine for my power level (the injectors never went to 100% Duty Cycle, so they weren't maxed out).

Anyway, you are close to the limit as I was, I switched for some insurance if I grow again in the future.

Is this the factory 5th gen pump or the ZL1 pump? I thought they were using the ZR1 pump. If it's the ZL1 pump I will take it. Just need your PayPal address.

Thanks
Wes

Wes, this is not the ZL1 pump, it is the SS/1LE 5th Gen Pump.

David, looks like I just received the payment. Thanx! The pump is sold...
