Dynamat or Lizard Skin?

I am working on a 69 Camaro and I am just about ready to do something to the interior floor pan. I plan to use U-Pol Raptor on the bottom of the car and semi gloss black on the frame, The interior floor and inside firewall are bare metal, I plan to epoxy prime this as well. Just can't decide if I should go with the Dynamat, or Lizard skin. If dynamat how much and what stuff should I use, I see there are about 6 different choices on there website,

I used Lizard Skin on my '67 Chevelle. Ceramic on the bottom and noise barrier inside. Honestly, I thought the results were pretty poor. I sprayed it twice and still felt it did very little. I then Dynamatted the entire inside and the car was suddenly dense and quiet. Dynamatt is just a better product.

I used the Dynamat in my car and it definitely quiets it down. Only thing I'm not thrilled about is its very heavy. Happy Easter to you too Travis.

It doesn't work as well as dynamat. The thermal properties are not as advertised either.

Thanks Vince, I saw the pictures of the nova on fb, it looks pretty good. Roughly how much dynamat do you think I would need for the 69 Camaro

X3 10455 kits easy. Summit had them for cheaper than wholesale.

Lay down some upol over the seam sealer in the corners and seams.

Well, we painted the car inside with single stage paint. I did this on my cowl hood and fenders in the 1980's and they never rusted. You can buy the dynamat extreme precut for your car too. Classic Industries sells a precut kit for Camaro's. I used one of their coupons and saved a little on the cost.

I have a cheaper version in my 68 Camaro, its just in the front. Can I put Dynamat over the top of the other or do I have to remove it?
