Well, we painted the car inside with single stage paint. I did this on my cowl hood and fenders in the 1980's and they never rusted. You can buy the dynamat extreme precut for your car too. Classic Industries sells a precut kit for Camaro's. I used one of their coupons and saved a little on the cost.
