Default Weld bung for new Degas Style coolant cap?

Anyone know where I can find a source for weld in bungs for a Degas bottle coolant cap like this?

This is a link to a Canton tank that has the bung I'm looking for but I don't see the bung for sale separately in their catalog and haven't had luck finding one through Google

If you are looking for the weld in bung for the factory cap you will have to make it or call canton and see if they will sell you one before it gets welded into a tank..

Meziere makes bunch of different caps. Their website sucks. But here is the first one I found.

If you search weld in bungs and fittings on Summit Racing, you get a pretty good list of their caps if you search under their brand name first.

I am specifically looking for a bung for a coolant bottle factory Degas style cap as shown in that pic. I've gone through the listings at Atech and even emailed my rep to see if they've got a listing for it. I am so surprised that these aren't all over the market since they've been using these caps for over a decade now.

I may have to call Canton directly to see if they would sell me a couple..... or get my CAD guy to draw one up and I can start selling them!!

I've bought these threaded and O ringed caps and bungs for oil fill caps in valve covers. They're not hard to find.

Like many things it's mostly in the way you "search" for things.... I find I have to search and then refine my search as I see the way things are worded etc.

Can't get the link to post correctly -- so maybe copy and paste it instead of just clicking on it. Should take you to a page with all kinds of weld in bungs with screw
in caps

Yes, the regular bungs with O-ring caps are easy to find in a million different sizes... I'm specifically trying to find one that will allow me to use a factory style degas cap for a coolant degas bottle I'm building. Vince posted up one that might be a winner but I haven't had time to go back and measure it yet... I figured just like a standard coolant neck there would be listings that specifically mentioned it by name.

That is a great link for an excellent selection of weld in bungs though Greg!

let me know if you need anything done. I am starting to get a lot of requests to make custom aluminum tanks.

Thanks, Vince. I'll keep that in mind. That link Greg posted has some steel bungs, too.
