Default Minneapolis Mustang Father/Sons build

Hi all,

Quick backstory - My '66 was my first car back in '93. I was an old car lover and got a cheap project, got it running and drove it in various levels of mid-project all through highschool. Mice ate my wiring while I was away at college and I parked the car for many years. Finally had to give it up for lack of space, $$, everything...

18 yrs later it has found its way back to me - the same exact car, in the same exact shape - stored inside since I got rid of it. Now my two young sons and I are building what we hope to be is a fun AutoCX racer and general hotrod to fool around in.

So far:
6cyl inline is coming out, swapping for low miles '98 explorer motor & rear end going in.
5-lug V8 front end being installed
Shelby drop
tubular lower arms,
performance springs.
New floor pans.
Discs in front when we have $$ and many other upgrades.

I'll be needing a lot of help getting the EFI going. If any of you has done this, I'd love any advice.

Thanks and I look forward to learning and showing my progress!

-T.C.

Welcome TC! Love your story. Not too many folks get a second chance like you've got here. Make it a good one!

So are you TC Worley? If so I expect better photos when you start a build thread

I'm from Minnesota also, there are a few guys on here from the area. Good luck with the project, I'm sure you and your sons will have fun with it.

Casey,
Better photos? Look at the composition. The trouble light...the dangly cord... My crappy photos don't tell such a story. That's a pro, right there!

Thanks guys - I wasn't excited at first as I saw a mountain of work to be done and picturing myself trying to shoe-horn it into an already busy life. But I'm borderline obsessive excited about it now. I'm spending money and time as much as I can.

I AM T.C. Worley, a self-employed photographer and filmmaker, so I will try to get better pics someday. So much for being anonymous
