Default Small retro (but modern) seats?

Working on a 66 Volvo Amazon with my kid. (he is 17).
The car isn't really Lateral G friendly but the seats might be?
I'm 50 and wouldn't mind recovering the factory buckets(covers alone about 600$) and adding headrest (safety-keep Mamma happy) or using a sixties style seat.
Corbeau classic.

Junior likes the JDM seat off of e-bay. Price sure is right.
Bit too modern for my taste but look decent? Not that its about me. LOL

Looking for ideas. Thanks in advance.

Stay away from the tuner seats on ebay, please!

We've purchased several in years past with the same intentions, just to have a good cheap seat. Well, the "good" part is non-existent. The brackets suck, the mechanisms (slider and recline) suck, and they are made very cheaply. Not good for support or safety. They flex a lot. If you're under 140lbs you might be ok but you'll feel them flex getting in and out.

Sorry, don't have any recommendations on small seats otherwise.. but check out Sparco and Corbeau, they can be had for not a ton of cash.

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. Input. My thought were a new seat with headrest would be safer, then someone else mentioned putting my kid in a cheap seat would not be necessarily safer. Oh right, good call.
So I may take junior out to a yard and look at some used OEM seats.
