Default insurance

I know that this has been addressed before...but

I need to insure my 1959 Chevy Apache

My issue is that Hagerty, Grundy, USAA classic and other companies will insure it, but not allow me to drive it daily

If suggested a declared value policy, but they wont budge

any advice? solutions?
thanks

If you're going to daily drive it then you don't have to use a collector car insurance company. When I had a fully restored '72 C10 I had full coverage from American Family just like any other vehicle. It wasn't very expensive at all either. Talk to your regular insurance guy and see what he says.

I contacted Mark from Classic Collectors. He is a site sponsor, he has an advertisement on the left side of the screen. He is a very informative agent. He said that it wouldn't be a problem to drive the car more than just to a show or parade on the weekends. It was stated value and from my understanding that is the way to go. It was also very reasonable to insure two cars. Also I think that he is an agent for a few different companies so he can give you different options and pick which one works best for you. Good luck figuring it out.
