Default Body mount bushings

Its been 20 years since I last replaced the body bushings on my 67 Impala SS and they will be be due for replacement soon. I was thinking about using the energy suspension body bushing kit instead of rubber this time. Anybody have any input on this? The car already has hard rubber bushings between the side of the frame and body to control lateral movement. Will hard bushings make the ride unbearably harsher?

I used them on my 64 GTO and 57 Belair with good results. Ride was great in both cases.

Could put aluminum bushings on there.
