Default Brembo GT 6 piston fr / 4 piston rr monoblock brake kit FS

Item Location (City/State): SoCal

Price: $4000 plus shipping

Description: See below

A little over a year ago I bought this kit from forum member Frank 4musclemachones:

http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...locks-f-s.html

The kit has been stored indoors, never installed and in the exact same condition as received and in the ad. I was told the kit had 500 miles on it, and it looks to be correct. It was a 1/2 price smokin' deal, but I'm going a different route.

Asking $4000 plus shipping.

Feel free to PM, email at [email protected] or dial eight one eight - 425 - twentyfive 74.

Thanks for looking

Ron-

I'm interested. Toasted my 12.19" Wilwoods at Thunderhill, so the 14" rotor is appealing.

What would I need to run these on my 69? Stock front spindles and a 12 bolt with C-clip eliminators. Is this just the calipers, rotors and lines, or are there brackets as well?

Thanks,
Jason

Hey Jason,

They come with radial mount brackets front and rear. These bolt up to c5 / c6 spindles so you'd need Tobin's magic brackets in the front. Piece of cake. Rears I cannot comment with certainty, but again it's made for a Corvette so I'd bet Tobin has something.

Give me a call and I'll work through it for you

Ron

Hi Ron,

I have weld on caliper brackets that will get these rear calipers mounted to ANY housing with a 3" axle tube. Most likely you will need a different hat with a deeper offset though. Hope this helps.

Payne, your spindles are 2nd gen based and modified by Global west. I have a 2nd gen C5 adapter bracket to try.
I can also get the rear backings to work on 12 bolts.

These are a great deal.

Ron is correct in his description except that all of the rotors are brand new!

So it's an even better deal at the price he's asking.

I've been getting some questions regarding compatibility of the Brembo GT kits that Ron is selling, so with his permission, I figured I'd post a response here for everyone's benefit.

Since the GT kits are designed to fit a C6 corvette (base, Z51, Z06, etc), they should be compatible with any C5 or C6 application since the mounting points are the same. Hose fittings vary from M10x1 bubble on the C5 to M10x1 inverted flare on the C6, but otherwise they're virtually the same with respect to their mounting requirements.

So with that said, if you'd like to put these brakes on your muscle car application, it should just be a matter of making your car look like a C5/C6 Corvette with respect to the brake mounting points, which is precisely what we do. We offer C5/C6 conversion brackets for a variety of applications front and rear, with or without parking brakes, not all of which are listed on our website, so please feel free to contact us directly with any questions that you may have for your specific application.

GLWTS Ron!
