Default Goodguys AutoCross Duel in the Desert Shootout

Well we are down to the last two events to qualify into the finals in Scottsdale AZ for the "Duel in the Desert" Finals. If you were in TX you saw Robbie Unser in the Speedway Motors/AFCO Nova run real fast and win the Street Machine class to become PRO. Robbie is headed to Charlotte to see if he can gain points to get into the finals. He is also going to Pleasanton CA for the last shot to get in after SEMA. We will have to see how the last two spots and the points play out to set this field. Gonna be one hell of a show!!

Here is where we stand right now.

Goodguys AutoCross Finals Shootout 2014

SN – Brian Hobaugh 65 Corvette San Ramon, CA
SLSN – Kyle Tucker 70 Camaro Mooresville, NC (out)
AAGT – Mike Maier 66 Mustang Livermore, CA
DMN – Greg Thurmond 64 Corvette Simi Valley, CA
KAAN – Danny Popp 72 Corvette Cincinati, OH
NVN – Mike DuSold 67 Camaro Lewisville, TX
SGT – Rob MacGregor 69 C-10 Knoxville, TN
CN – Keith Corrigan 55 T-Bird Cave Creek, AZ
IAAN – Josh Leisinger 64 Corvette Sioux Falls, SD
SAAN – Bob Bertelsen 69 C-10 Columbiana, OH
HLN – Tom Farrington 66 Chevelle Mooresville, IN
GGN – Brian Finch 66 Corvette Hermitage, TN
PSMCC – Tyler Powell 63 Corvette LeRoy, AL
HAN – Scott Fraser 66 Cobra San Jose, CA
RMC-Bret Voelkel 68 Camaro Jasper, IN
LSN-Roger Burman 63 Dodge Dart Rockwell City IA
SEN-
AGT-

Top points as of 10-9-14, we will take nine from this list.

Chris Smith 29
Stacy Tucker 27
Deb McGilton 25
Cheryl Herrick 18
Ryan Mathews 18
Jason Brady 18
Tim McGilton 15
Terry Neuville 15
Jared Leisinger 13
Larry Woo 8
Kenny Edwards Jr. 8
James Crosby 7
Tom McBride 7

Six will race their way into the Finals. Also anyone not going will up this number of race in people.

I hope you can all make it to Scottsdale AZ to see the "Duel in the Desert" Finals November 14-15. The winner will get crowned the "AutoCrosser of the Year" with prize money, a Snap-on tool box and other cool prizes.

Rodney,
Right now there is six spots that will be "Race In" on Friday that are open. We could have more if the top nine in points do not accept the invite. We still have Charlotte and Pleasanton to get two more in also and the top nine in points could really change.

Dog fight to the end.
See you all at the Finals.
