Default Anyone make wheel barrels?

Can anyone change up these work vsx's for me? Need all 4 of the barrels to go to 18x10 with 5.75 bs. The centers were hard to find in this bolt pattern. Thanks!

there is a place in Cali that specializes in re barrels..Very reasonable prices for hoops. He gets new barrels from AMC wheel halves(used to supply HRE)
http://wheelflip.com/

there is also Independent wheel but he specializes in the more boutique/obscure brands but he might have some Works laying around
http://www.independentwheel.com/

Lastly theres the wheel forum stance works. The used section is full of people buying and selling lips inners and faces..
http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=59726

I wish i could have used wheel flip but the Fikse's I bought are the uncommon 30 hole barrel which he doesnt carry.
Pretty sure Works are 40s

Do you know the specs on the wheels currently? Like current offset backspace barrel widths? Is there a serial number on them anywhere?

I used the serial numbers on my fikse to call them and have them look up the exact specs..Then I turned the rear 18x11 into an 18x9.5 by swaping the outer lip from a 4.5 to a 3..Backspace was unchanged at 5.35
Im still looking for used fikse inners to turn all my wheels to 10s also but for now Ill run the 9s f and 9.5s r with 275/40s

I can post some pics if your interested

I checked out those sites but couldnt find exactly what I was looking for.

The current barrels are stepped up to 19's and the inner and outers are welded together

I would like to see your fiske if you dont mind posting some pictures.

Guess i will keep an eye out on the forums or just contact work.

Your welded 19" step up lip hoops are still worth $..You could post them on stance works.
Contacting Work isn't neccesary. Call wheel flip, they do this all day, look at the blog section of the website.
The hardest part is knowing the depth/offset of your centers..Ie the distance from the rim mounting face(where the 40 botls go) to the wheel mounting face(where the lugs go).. I think mine where like 1.35" or so..
SO in theory if your centers where 1.25" then you'd need a 3"outer lip and a 7"inner barrel..7+3=10 wide and then you mount you center which is 1.25 deep.. 7-1.25=5.75 backspace..
Although it didnt work out that easily in my case like i said cuz my centers where something odd like 1.35 deep but it didnt matter because i was only changing the outer lip and not the inner barrel which is why my backspce didnt change.
Anyway heres some pics

No worries dude. I've gleened quite a bit of info of this site and others and it's nice to give back once in a while after I've taken so so much. Lol
For more info Google "wheel rebarelling " there's a modified mag article that I saw specifically about work vs-xx's on a red s14 240sx. Also look for some forum posts by a guy called thatcher. He's posted on a lot of different sites and I used his tutorial to do my wheels. Good luck!

We have Fikse replacement rims, barrels or shells in 18" and 19" readily available with replacement bolts and washers.

Do you know what the ID measurement is on barrel of the Work wheel?
