Default Challenger II

Qualified yesterday with a 419mph pass...424mph exit speed! This morning on the back up run something happened with the clutch and he pulled off at the two.

With Speedweek cancelled this year they're not wasting any time getting up to speed with the new car. The Cook Shootout is later this year and usually has 4-5 additional miles of course! Oh man!

He's posting on the FB and tweaker

Goal for the car is 500+. Whats exciting is 4-5 streamliners are all coming together, fresh builds looking for that majic 500+ time slip. I think Danny is the only naturally aspirated liner running this fast.

The 419 run was only his 3-4 full course pull...usually takes at least a year to get comfortable and the car working well, he's done it in two events. The Cook Shootout is going to be awesome....as long as the weather holds!

Anyone remember the Pontiac Tempest named Vinny? Kind of a sleeper with turbos hidden under the trunk....this is what they've been up to.
