Default First Pass at the Dragstrip with new engine

After fighting tuning issues most of the weekend at LS Fest, I finally managed a somewhat decent pass on Sat. night. This is on full auto-x/road race set-up.
Went 11.15 @ 127.6 with snail like 2.0 60ft with some wheel spin in 1st and 2nd gear.

Sorry, I didn't take one, I was too busy bothering Mike Norris trying to get a handle on the tune. Dan Ballard said it was shooting flames out of the exhaust on every shift, so it would of made a cool video.

So being this is a protouring car, what do you meen? get another tenth out of it no prob or if you put drag slicks on it for another tenth's or more?

Curious as I: A- Love this car, B- Love seeing protouring cars do the 1/4 mile dance too...

Wanted to do mine at Sonoma this summer but haven't had the chance.

Mike, if I get a little more time on the strip with this engine combo to work out the launch, I can get it in the 10's, I was able to 60 ft in the 1.7-1.8 range with the old engine. Every tenth you drop on your 60 ft equals 2-3 tenth's in et. I think if I added a 2 step I might get into the mid 10's.

Awesome Tim. That's the coolest Ls motor I have seen. It sounds evil too.

Tim, if we could have ran Friday night and got a good look at what the suspension was doing, and then run Saturday night, and change a few things you would have been in the 10's.

Dan, I'm sure your right but considering the issues I was fighting with, I had no desire to mess with the shock settings. I wish I could of had more passes in the right lane, it was definitely better than the left.
