Default Subframe

I have a 72 nova that needs a subframe. I found a subframe from a 70 firebird I can get a good deal on. Will this frame work on my nova? I know that the 67-69 camaro will interchange but I'm really not sure if the 70 will. Please help!

Second gen (70) subframes are not drop in replacements. You need a first gen subframe.

Yup, 67-69 Camaro/Firebird or 68-72 Nova is what you're looking for.

I believe 73 and 74 Nova will work as well, but the bumper holes and bracketry are a little different.

I learned a lot in my search for a sub frame earlier this year!

I know a guy getting ready to sale one that has some nice suspension parts on it if you're interested. PM me and I'll pass along his info.

We just pulled one out of a customers car and he wants to sell it. The subframe is in the very eastern bay area. Let me know if you are interested in it.
The car was a 1969 camaro, so it will fit.
