That's more of an issue for your website design not your webhoster.

The click a picture and have it larger is mostly done using light boxes today

The hoster just hosts stuff, doesn't care what it is, the website controls how it is presented.

However I use dreamhost and have also heard very good things about hostgator

I agree, it's not the hosting company, it's the site itself. You could re-do the site and have it completely different; slideshows, whatever and still be hosted exactly as it is right now.

You could either have your site changed around or find a new template (layout) you like and add your pics and content to it.

As other have said, it's not your hosting provider, it's your website.

There is a ton of JavaScript code that makes the images do what you want.

Take a look at:

http://aeqdev.com/tools/js/abigimage/ (click on the cats)

http://www.htmldrive.net/items/show/...ge-zoom-plugin (press View Demo then move your mouse over the images)

Do you have someone that makes your webpages?

If doing the sites yourself, look at Wix or Wordpress, lots of pre-built plugins and heaps of templates, makes doing this stuff easy

I second the Wordpress suggestion. Lots of nice templates out there for few bucks. Lots of hosting options as well.
