Did you see the ages on the "alleged" suspects? When I first started reading I was thinking it involved teens, I was a little surprised.

I want to know what were the "little road disputes"?

All I could think at first is why is a full grown man riding a 50.... Until they showed his bike behind him. I hope the idiots that did it get what they deserve.

I had the same thing happen when I was a kid. We use to skateboard at a sloped parking lot, and someone strung fishing line across the bottom of the hill. No one got hurt badly, but still not cool.

When I was around 12 or so the same thing happened to my freind , we were riding in the woods and I let him go frist because I had a much faster bike I let him get aways ahead so I was flying to catch him and came around a corner and found him on the ground I thought he just crashed untill I saw the telephone wire on the ground . He was very lucky and me too . They had tied it to a big tree on one side and alittle one on the other . It broke off the little and saved his life!!

Happened to me once prior to a family vaction.

Was riding my Go-cart while my parents were loading up the camper. This Go-Cart was a typical hardware store special and had no head protection, typical of the Late 70s. The entrance to the trail my brother and I had cut through the woods had a "gate" made up of only 2 strands of barbed wire. It is usually not closed. I didnt know my Dad had strug it back up. As I rounded the curve I saw the wire and locked em up.

I slid thru the wire.. it did not break nor come unhooked.

It jerked me off the go cart and I fell underneath the still strung up wire. It cut my face, arms and the barbed wire hooked the top of my braces and almost pulled them completely out of my mouth. Had the wire been lower . . . well I still dont like to think about it.

When I was a kid I was out riding a horse and hit a stringline running across a field. Well...the field was marked off for a new developement subdivision not too far from our farm. Fell off and landed in sandburs. Wasn't too bad, a few cuts and scrapes.
