Default Need Help with a 4-link

Hopefully you guys can help. I'm working on a 1/12th scale 69 Camaro. The aftermarket is slim to nil so i have to scratchbuild just about everything myself. I plan on do a 4-link suspension out back. I would like to replicate the DSE set up. If anyone has any pictures of this kit installed, that would be great. I am using scale 11" wheels so It will have to be tubbed. What diameter tubing is usued for the links?

Also, does anyone know the diameter of the driveshaft off the top of your head?

Any help would be absolutely great.

Thanks
Russell

Russell,
If you use a scale 1 1/2" dia. (0.125 o.d.) tube you will be good for the links.

Most stock driveshafts are 2 1/2 or 3" in diameter. 1/4" or 5/16ths O.D. aluminum tube will polish up nice and look good.

Scott,

I forgot about that thread. Those pictures are tons of help. I am also contemplating on reworking the rear end. I believe the rear-end in the kit is a 12bolt which is nice. I might make some brass axle tubes so I can add more detail around the end, and tu sturdy it up some to help it all support the weight. Anyone got some under car shots?
