I have a factory crossmember. It had a small block with auto on it when I got the car. I don't know how universal these are.

Small block or big block doesn't matter. Its the trans that changes the cross member. Turbo 350 and 4 speed use same cross member. Turbo 400 trans uses the other..

Mine had a TH350 on it.

Aren't BBC crossmember mounting holes offset from center to account for the BBC frame mounts?

Never seen or heard that before. I don't think so but maybe someone else here can chime in.
