http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/ Don't get off topic over there!

32 Ford, 69 Camaro, or dezert racer.....the process is all the same, just the parts and envelope change.

What do you want the vehicle to do for you?

If you have never owned an early hot rod, or even been in one, get a ride in one. If you have never built an early hot rod, I strongly recommend buying one done to get your feet wet.

Contact the owner of this thread http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...n+window+build He is on your side of the pond and could be a wealth of information for you.

Okay, i will log in Jalopy, i have lurked it few times.

I have thought of baying good new frame and make it roller with LS1 and then start saving for brookeville body. Something between classic looks with decent driveability. No RS frame, more like Pete&Jakes.

Having a '32 and a '33 - both built differently.... The '32 has Kugel Komponents IRS and IFS - which rides like a caddy... and the '33 has a 5" dropped straight axle front - and live axle on coil overs rear... The '32 has a SBC - the '33 an LS3...

COMPLETELY different cars.

Make sure you know what you want when you're finished. There's so many looks and options. Want to drive it over bad roads - long distance? Or putt around town going to car shows? Or do you want a hot rod that's Lat G capable?
